01 / RISK
A pre-trade checklist for making the plan visible
A checklist creates a short pause to inspect what is already in the plan. It is a place to document the setup before urgency takes over—not a recommendation about what to buy, sell, or hold.
Open the manual pre-trade check02 / THE FIVE PROMPTS
Name what belongs in the record.
These prompts are deliberately plain. They help you compare the written plan with the moment in front of you without turning the checklist into a trade instruction.
01 / SETUP
Can I describe the setup in one plain sentence?
02 / PLANNED RISK
What amount am I prepared to risk on this idea?
03 / EXPECTED REWARD
What expected reward have I written down, and what is it based on?
04 / STOP DISTANCE
What stop-distance context am I documenting?
05 / INVALIDATION
What would make the idea no longer fit the plan I wrote?
03 / CONTEXT
Write down what the numbers do not carry.
Add one sentence about event risk, time pressure, a fast move, or another uncertainty you can name. Context does not answer the decision; it makes the conditions around it visible for reflection later.

05 / THE RECORD
Make the plan visible before the decision gets loud.
RiskLens turns the same inputs into a repeatable manual check. It gives you one quiet place to document planned risk, expected reward, and context so the record is available for a later review.
